The same day that we discovered the Persephone Market Garden we decided to stop in at Lamblicious, located right at the Park Head intersection. I had met Jessica at a yoga class (hosted in Hepworth by Dianne Adams) the week previous and she had told me that they sold honey and maple syrup.
We bought some delicious local honey – supplied by Berger’s Apiaries and we also bought some maple candies that were made with the maple syrup of Bob and Donna Lesperance of Sauble River Farms. The kids were in heaven (and on a bit of a sugar high!). This was as though we just bought candy, only I could be sure of the ingredients!
Wyatt wants to return and look at some lamb. He has been saying that even though Shawn and I are eating vegetarian he still feels the desire to eat meat. Fair enough we decided. We will be shopping for some good local meat next with Wyatt.
